It does take time. 2 months after J left he had a new girl and it was someone who spent allot of time with him and I. She laughed when we broke up. I asked myself the same question… how long?
I talked to my guy friends about this and they said that “guys don’t forget, they just have an easier time shutting down emotions and moving on to satisfy there own happiness.” I didn’t really like this answer from them, but it was good to hear that we are not forgotten.
You can do this. I know it seems like you are in a dark hole and that you will never be happy again, but you will. <3
