Q: I love someone so much and I care about them so much, and I think he is afraid to commit because he is scared about getting hurt again. We act like we're in a relationship, but he won't be in one with me. I've grown to love him for the past 9 months this has been happening and I think he is still in love with his ex girlfriend from over a year ago. I feel like I'm not good enough for him, or for anyone. Do you have any advice from your past experience?

I can relate to part of this yes. What stuck out to me was when you said he won’t be in a relationship with you even though you act like you are. That is hurtful to you. I’ve had that happen and it makes you wonder if he’s embarrassed to be seen with you or scared of what his friends will think (had that happen to a friend as well). Give him time and space to get over his ex, because he can’t move on and you wouldn’t want him if he was constantly thinking about another girl.
Now, also you ARE good enough. In fact, you are BETTER. You have to think of yourself as being almost too good, be a little cocky almost. Believe in yourself and be strong. I know that this doesn’t happen overnight. Self talk to yourself and build yourself up. If he comes around and is ready to make you guys official that’s fantastic! If he takes forever though, don’t let him lead you on. The guy I was with just kept hanging on but couldn’t make up his mind so I had to cut him off. It was too painful to not be official and just hanging on.
Plus from what I can see in your picture you look adorable! You are fantastic, not just good, fantastic. Remind yourself that everyday :)

So I’ve had one crazy semester but as of now next spring I will graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Family and consumer science :)
