I'm back again. So I've been fighting my heart and actually trying to transition but I need to know what I was to her. She always kept that secret. She has changed but I've always been there, but now she is making me think that she has been doing shady things like drugs. and I'm worried about her genuinely. But I am letting her live her life. We have drifted apart from what we once were. I need to know what I was back then....

I would see if she would be interested in you two writing letters to each other. Just one letter that tells what the other meant. My ex and I did this after our breakup as closure. That way you will know and have a feasible object to show for it and refer to. 

As far as her doing things that are shady, I would express my concern but you can’t get dragged into that. I recently lost a friend who went back into abusing drugs and for my health and mental status I had to let him go.
